HypnoBirthing 101 – Overview

Week 1

Week one focuses on shifting your thoughts about birthing from the negative, dramatic, and painful images you see on TV shows, movies, and stories you hear from others, to only positive thoughts of peaceful, calm, and pain free births. Your labor companion is very valued in the HypnoBirthing program and will be given instruction during class as well as prompt cards and reminders of their role during the birth.

We go over:

  • Visualizations to focus on before and during birth which teach your mind the expectations you hold your body to
  • Deepening, these make you able to go even deeper in your relaxation
  • Birth Plan that is very detailed and perfect for taking with you to the birth center or hospital
  • Special Circumstances

This is a very brief outline of the HypnoBirthing classes. Of course there is much more information we cover as well, and the hands on practice and instruction you receive in a class is invaluable. If you have any questions on a topic you want to know about or want to know if that will be covered in class, please contact me and I will happily answer any questions you have about the program.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row]
